- Moved to Ocean City in 1982 after knee and wrist injuries cut a possible baseball career short as a catcher

- Worked Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale from 1986 to 1989
- Was invited to try out with the New York Mets in February, 1995 as a possible replacement player; held at the Mets spring training site in Port St. Luice, Florida (Thank God,
just weeks later the strike was settled)
- Teams I Had A Try-Out With In The Early '80's: Reds, Braves, Cardinals, Expos, Rangers, Cubs, Astros and of course the Indians 3 times
- Activities & Hobbies: Racquetball, softball and can't give up baseball yet!
- Goal: To be working with ESPN or Fox Sports as a baseball play by play or color commentator, or doing radio baseball play by play
